Based on product description and reviews, I was expecting this to be a buy-it-for-life shower curtain. After only a month, and despite frequent washing, serious black mold began to appear. I tried soaking in vinegar, additional washings with non-chlorine bleach, etc. but the mold was ever present and continued to spread. I will also note that the hemp curtain was rung out after each shower and allowed to hang freely to speed up drying. My former sheer cotton curtain lasted longer than this before developing very slight mildew stains and holes, but it never developed black mold. VERY disappointing. Nearly $100 down the drain. |

I love my hemp shower curtain! In fact I love it so much that I'm ordering another for our new bathroom. I highly recommend these curtains. You absolutely do not need a liner with them. The color lasts, is natural, and VOC free! I've had mine about 2 years now. Withstands daily showers and has been washed in the washer multiple times. Still looks perfect. I wish they sold them in Claw Foot size though. I tell all my friends to go with hemp. :) |

I love the feel of this hemp shower curtain. The natural and simplistic look it gives to my bathroom is fabulous. I love that it is eco friendly, and that I do not have to worry about chemicals every time I take a shower. I also like the fact that I do not have to use a liner with this shower curtain, and that is it so easy to wash. |
